Know Lisa's story in her words

Like most of us, I wasn’t taught about financial literacy and the Importance of credit growing up. I was raised in a low-income, single-parent household.
When I went through my divorce, I racked up a bunch of credit card debt and didn’t have any money saved for a rainy day.
I quickly found myself in debt and essentially ended up with bad credit. I knew it was time to find a plan to get my finances and life back in order. Whatever happened felt bad when it was happening, and it took me all my courage and strength to stand up on my feet again. I had to gather a different kind of strength and grace.

SHE TRULY WISHES WELL FOR YOU

As a mother, I knew it was Important to teach my children the importance of financial literacy. I began learning the best way to budget and increase my credit scores.
After working hard and studying financial literacy I began to feel a sense of empowerment because my credit score was increasing.
But today when I look back, I see myself emerging as a different person. I’m stronger now. I’m more resilient. I’m wise not only as a person but also with my finance and with my credit.
I am proud of how far I’ve come, and I want to give the same strength and grace to everyone around me.
When I look around me, many others are struggling with financial instability and poor credit score.
So many other people may be in similar situations that I was once faced with. Their story may be different from mine, but their problems were all the same.
Hence, I made it my mission to help women fix their credit scores and get their buying powers back.

I help women

Although, I would really like to admit: Everything I went through could have been made easy to handle if I knew about credit since childhood.
We struggle so much managing finances even when we are adults. We don’t understand that investing, budgeting, and financing are skills. And the sooner we learn to cultivate, the better we get at it.
I’m on a mission to increase my knowledge of credit education and financial literacy. I enjoy helping people, especially women to gain their buying powers back.
